Complete coating lines
The Airone painting lines are custom-built systems designed to meet the customer's production needs and the type of coating to be applied. Each line can include:
- dry or water-wash spray booths;
- intermediate dryers transport system (belts, roller conveyors, Cartesian robots);
- curing/polymerization ovens;
- handling systems (belts, roller conveyors, Cartesian robots);
- customized accessories such as loaders, feeders and tippers.
Our team conducts feasibility study and analyzes existing system evaluating potential modifications or the addiction of new technologies to improve productivity and energy efficiency. Using our dedicated software and mechanical know-how, lines can be integrated with advanced control systems and adapted to industries such as food, automotive, ceramics and household appliances.
Coating and spray booths
Airone spray booths are designed to apply liquid or powder products with maximum precision. Their main features include:
- water-wash or dry filtration systems, customized to meet specific requirements;
- modular design with specialized component gripping systems, using either vacuum technology or magnetic systems;
- Complete electronic control of the process (spray guns, spray parameters, recipes) via PLC software.
The booths provide a controlled environment for uniform application, minimizing waste and improving coating quality even in non-stick (Teflon™) coating and special coating projects.
Ovens
Industrial roller ovens, available with gas or electric power, are designed for the curing and polymerization of non-stick coatings. Equipped with in-house burners and combustion systems and proprietary PC-based software, they allow real-time setting and monitoring of temperatures, cycle times and production and energy consumption data, both on-site and remotely.
This precision ensures maximum coating performance on items from various sectors – cookware, automotive, ceramics, food, and household appliances – with optimized consumption and long system life, ideal for large-scale production.
Infrared dryers and passivators
These machines provide industrial drying and passivation, which are essential steps before the final curing to prevent defects and ensure maximum coating uniformity. Available in gas (radiant or catalytic burners) or electric versions, they are developed in-house and can work in conjunction with ovens. Their applications include ceramics, food, cookware, automotive and many others. They are typically used in applications where moisture or liquid residues must be removed prior to the curing process.
Sandblasting machines
Airone sandblasting machines create the ideal surface for coating adhesion. The treatment consists of mechanical preparation using abrasives, which remove impurieties and create a controlled micro-roughness. They are available in different models, but the top one is the rotating satellite sandblasting machine with a vacuum gripping system, which guarantees uniformity of treatment even on complex pieces.
The sandblasting process is essential to ensure durability and performance of non-stick coatings. Thanks to correct surface preparation, the coated components achieve high quality standards with perfect adhesion of the protective film and greater resistance over time, even in harsh production conditions.
Handling and conveyor systems
Airone designs and builds customized material handling systems that can be sealessly integrated into painting lines. Our available solutions include conveyor belts, roller conveyors, motorized curves, 90° diverters, titlers, fedders, loaders with anthropomorphic robots, and Cartesian loading/unloading systems, inlcuding oven loading and unloading. These systems ensure continuous and safe production flows, adapting to variable sizes and weights and allowing for future expansione of the plant.
Laboratory equipment
To ensure quality and traceability, we also provide a complete package of laboratory equipment. These include:
- data loggers for monitoring curing curves and temperature profiles;
- abrasion testing machines, also with automatic abrasive belt replacement;
- pressurized tanks, spray guns and thickness gauges, useful for completing and monitoring each painting line.
These features allow for constant checks and certifications according to industry standards, ensuring the performance and durability of the coating and fully treaceable quality control.
